It appears to mount with a screwless shank and spindle

Bronze Inset Handle Center to Center:3" The door plate measures 5Bronze Inset Handle Cast bronze decorative flush mount handle with lifting bail. Eastlake style decoration with ivy and geometric motifs. The pull measures 3 1 2"l x 1 5 8"h. It has a 3" center to center distance for mounting screws on each side with an additional screw hole on the middle top. The inset area that would need to be cut out for flush mount measures 2 1 2"l x 1"h. No manufacturers markings. This handle can be seen in the 1887 Orr & Locke
